icon_erhalt.png You can apply online on our career website: with a cover letter, CV and copies of your recent certificates / letters of reference. icon_rueckmeldung.png After receiving your application, we will screen your documents and give you feedback within 10 working days. icon_eisntellungstest.png If your profile matches our requirements for this position, you will be invited to a group interview in our headquarters in Vienna. It will take about 3 hours and includes the following tasks: a short self-presentation of each candidate, a group task that you will solve together and an individual computer test consisting of 3 parts: maths, language & personality. icon_praxistag.png If you convinced us at the group interview you will be invited to a day of practical experience in the store we are planning to assign you to. You will have the opportunity to take an insight into our daily business, get to know the company better and talk to our students and managers.

One of the last steps will be an appointment with the IMC University of Applied Science Krems, which takes place either online or on the campus itself.

Application advice

What do I need to write in the cover letter? What do I have to expect from the group interview? How do I prepare for the day in the store? To make your application as easy as possible, we’ve put together a couple of tips for you.

The application

Get informed!
If you want to work for a company, you should know why. Get informed about P&C and the fashion business in general. On our career website and our career blog you will find lots of articles and videos which can give you valuable insights.

Write something tailored!
Copying a cover letter from the internet? That’s an absolute no-go. Someone who only copies standardised text pieces won’t get noticed. Recruiters read hundreds of applications per month. So, write an individual and tailored cover letter which shows who you are.

Ask for help!
If your cover letter is done, don’t send it straight away. Give it to someone to proof-read it. Four eyes see more than two.

Do not worry about being nervous!
Especially when being on first interviews it is absolutely normal to be nervous. Shivering, a broken voice and sweaty hands – all that can happen. It is the same for all other applicants. So do not panic if you panic!

Preparation is everything!
The group interview consists of a presentation round, group exercises and a computer-based test. You will manage to overcome those challenges best if you inform yourself about the company, your future responsibilities and the fashion industry in general. How many branches does P&C actually have? Which tasks will be part of your formation? What are the current trends? And do not worry about the computer test – if you do a recap of the basics of maths and German you will be just fine!

Be yourself!
Being yourself during the presentation round is the most important. Don’t pretend to be someone you are not. Our recruiters have experience and will sense if you are just pretending.

Your day in the store

Be curious!
On your day of practical experience you will spend a day in one of our stores where you can already get a first try with customer care or merchandise presentation. Do not be afraid to ask questions or to ask your colleagues for advice! This will not only help you with managing the tasks but also will show that you are interested and curious.

Have fun!
During the group interview you have already proved theoretically that you are able to do the Dual Study Programme. Now it is time to see in real life that this programme at P&C is the right thing for you. So do not see the day at the store as another test situation – just enjoy your tasks – because those will accompany you along your study programme.

Be honest with yourself!
This day also serves for critically dealing with the challenges and tasks of your chosen study programme. Do you enjoy approaching clients? Can you get used to be up and about all day? How can you handle the opening hours?
